Is one side saddle better than the others?

I've seen alot of them (looking at 6rd) and all different prices so I got to wondering is there a difference. The Wilson ones in Brownells don't say anything about having to modify the forend. I've got an aftermarket vertgrip forend on it anyway so I don't knowif it would matter anyway.

Just get a TacStar and don't worry about it.

As to fit, if your forearm overlaps the receiver by more than 1/2 inch or so when the bolt is back to the rear, you will need the 4 round version- or a short forearm, if you want to use the 6 round type.

If I had the option (I have a Winchester and 6-round is the only option), I would have a 4-round Tac-Star vs. the 6-round.

Some people like the lighter weight of the 4-round Side Saddle. I like the extra round of the 6-round version.

looks like the 6rd will work. My forend doesn't overlap my reciever at all.
