Is the Harrisburg Great Outdoor Show a good place to buy guns and/or shooting accessories?

Coming up in a few days, the beginning of February, is the Great Outdoor Show in Harrisburg, PA. I think it is sponsored by the NRA. I know there are a lot of outfitters there, but is it a good place to look for guns and accessories?

It has been a while since I went - 2009 - but I bought my safes there….

Was a good show (big!)…. If nothing else, go and enjoy!

Lots of rifles and handguns showing on the show preview video. Racks n racks - but you may be right. I don't know.

It’s all display. Many of the big brands showcase their products, but they’re not for sale.

They do have a whole section of ammo for sale, however.

So if you want to look through a bunch of scopes, or hold a bunch of different guns all at once to make an informed purchase, it’s a good show.

Lots of hunting outfitters and “junk” for sale and display.

It's sort of like a scaled-down version of the Shot Show for folks in the east. I just can't bring myself to spend my money in state that hates me and that city in particular. However, if you go, please give us a full report. We'd appreciate it. Thanks

99% vendors no sell ,mostly just look at stuff.

Tons of fishing and hunting guides. Fresh and saltwater fishing, Prairie Dogs to elephant hunts and available. As stated above lots of firearms on display..

Man I miss going to that show.
Went every year when I lived in PA
Had a lot of good shows there
