I was pretty stoked back in 2015 when LWRC unveiled their new .45 ACP subgun. It was understood at the time that it was not ready for market but here we are, in 2017 and I haven't heard a single word since that first announcement. Has anyone heard anything credible? Or even rumors?

Really hoping this gun hasn't fallen through the cracks...

We did not bring this rilfe to Shot Show as it is still in development. Essentially we have decided to revise the internals. It will still be using UMP magazines and look the same.

I just wish someone actually imported B&T civilian carbine, a very rare .45 PCC. AFAIK it's a delayed blowback. They developed it from APC45 for our market and showcased it at SHOT 2016. But, not a peep since.

The big advantages of the LWRC, at least to me, are that 1) it's American made and 2) takes HK UMP mags. The US-made part means no 922r nonsense to worry about. The B&T stuff is superb so far as I can tell but doing anything fun/interesting with one is complicated by 922r. Being an LWRC it's almost certain to be a well made gun, too.
