Is the revolver enough for defense?

Are we done? Posts like this usual are a sign for a close. As usual, a revolver thread lands up in the same place. I can deal with magazines, some can't, whatever.

Unless you have something new, let's stop.

I would wager to say that 99 out of a 100 times a revolver would be just fine,
But I will also say that never in the history of defensive firearms has anyone that fired 7 or more shots out of a semi auto said "I wish I had a revolver".

I have several revolvers and am considering another, but for self defense, I prefer more capacity.

So the end result is that we all have agreed that revolvers are clearly superior and that autos were a passing fad.

We did not discuss why Black Powder revolvers are the best EDC, however, I will leave that for an alternate universe and close this one. BTW, if you don't like my attempts at humor when I close things, send your complaints to an alternate universe.
