Is there a 375-08 wildcat?

The thread title pretty much sums it up: is there a .375 wildcat based on the 308 case? Sort of a 358 Win taken to the next level?

I have two 358 Win rifles and I really like them, so I thought it might be a fun Christmas present to myself to have a gun rebored by JES as a cast boolet thumper and a nice lefty Savage would be a good place to start.

Or should I just go with a long action and a 375 Whelen?

But be aware it would have so little shoulder left head-spacing would be hard to control I think.

I'm sure it has been tried before, it is on the die list at ch4d as 375-308.

Headspace issues when going over .35 caliber in the 30-06 or .308 size case head has always, and will continue to be a problem when necking them up to almost a straight case with very little shoulder left.
