Is there any way to get a 6.5CM barrel in Wa. state for Ruger SFAR?

I have an SFAR, just barely managed to get one before H.B. 1240 shut "assault rifle" sales down in Wa. State last year. As I understand it, H.B. grandfathered all pre owned rifles, banned sales of most new semi auto rifles and all "assault rifles", and banned "assault rifle" specific parts. Some things seem to be OK, I see a lot of small parts, pins..charging handles..etc..for sale, but no BCG's, receivers, threaded barrels, etc..

Ruger just released their 6.5CM barrel for the SFAR and I want one.
I was thinking that if I can't order a barrel in from Ruger, might I be able to send my SFAR to Ruger for a barrel swap? I don't know if Ruger would be able to send my original threaded barrel back or send a threaded 6.5CM barrel even though the original gun is grandfathered in.

Can anybody help interpret this for me? Kind of seems like when my barrel wears out or otherwise fails, the gun cannot be fixed.

I don’t know much about the SFAR, but does it use a Ruger-proprietary barrel design? I know it seems to be kind of a hybrid of an AR-15 and an AR-10/SR-25, but I don’t know how that translates to individual parts.

I went to the OP's link, and saw a spectacularly inept, overbroad and unsubstantiated attempt at legislation. I could find no prohibition of barrels, but if the one you want is proprietary to Ruger, you are at their mercy first and foremost. It is all academic if they will not supply a barrel or upper for your gun. I am closing this thread as it is moot until such time as Ruger will provide the barrel or upper.
