Is there any way to tell if a three-screw Ruger Single Six has had the safety recall?

Ruger Single Six

Rugerlvr: Sir; a mighty fine looker. Pricing can range $350.00-$500.00+++
given certain factors.
Sequental # is a start. Do you have the box and paper work?

At RugerForm.com you have Ruger fans. They are eat up with :)Ruger:)

Call Ruger and get a "letter" for free. A very nice lady will answer your questions. If needed "tell her of your starting collection"

Have with you the firearm both serial # and both cylinders. The marking on your Magnum number too.

Ruger @603-865-2424

bigjohnson: Sir; you probably already know; for others; there are a number of places to get parts without going to Ruger for these oldies and newer models.
Only certain parts are 'factory restrictive'
Spring can be found at 'Wolf'
Parts @Midway and Brownells

Save the history; be cautious and responsible with all firearms.

I'm happy :) for you:)

"What would you guys pay for this gun?"

I'd try to get it for a little less than a new one. It's used, right? If that didn't work I'd offer a little more. I much prefer a 3-screw over a new one and would pay for it.

Nice gun, it looks exactly like the one I bought in '72.

It didn't have the box & papers. I bought it from a private party seller at the show. He was asking $330, and I got it for $300. Ruger has a serial number history feature on their website, and as close as I can tell, this one shipped in 1964. I feel ok about the deal, and I'm gonna love shooting it.

Rugerlvr: Sir; you done good.
Call Ruger and get a "letter" on it. The "Letter" will add value.

Follow up with your range reports.
