Well today I decided to go to the range and shoot my SKS. As Im loading up my gear and gun, I stumble upon 100 rds of ammo I never knew I had. Needless to say I was excited because it happened to be 7.62x39. What a coincidence.

Anyway, did anything like this ever happen to you guys? Stumble upon ammo, a gun, or something of that nature.

Just thought id share.

When you stumble upon an _SKS_ you forgot you had, then we can talk.

lpl/nc (Definition of 'enough guns'- not knowing how many you have.)

Yes, I've been looking through my ammo and found a can of reloads or a case of ammo I didn't know I still had.
I really need to do an inventory one day:)

Last year I found a gun, 39 Special, that I had forgot about and a 9mm that I had stuck back in the file cabinet a couple years ago.

Then last month I ran across a Colt 380 Government Model that I had put on the side.

When I die my friends are going to have a heck of a time finding all my guns.:D

Having a toddler means I know where all my guns and ammo are at all times (and they're generally under lock).

Then again, having a toddler on my salary also means I can't afford more than a couple handguns and a few pocketfulls of ammo...

I just did an inventory of guns and found some I had forgotten about, I wonder if there are any more that I didn't find:eek:  The number of them that I have never even shot yet is sad, more money than time apparently but my wallet sure is light...

I moved a while back and found several thousand shotshells, reloaded 12 and 20ga. Nearly 300 pounds worth, they were tucked back in the corner of my gun/reloading room and covered with other 'stuff' that I hadn't used for a while. I wouldn't think even I could misplace that much ammo, but I did. Found several hundred rounds of Port surplus 308, nearly a full case of 22lr, and a whole bunch of other things in that move too.

Now I too would be astounded to find a 39 Special. Any chance we'll ever see pics of this thing?! :)

Funny you bring that up, I found 50 .308 reloads just this afternoon I'd forgotten about that were stuck in a box from when I moved. They were dated March of last year!

Never found a gun I'd forgotten about though, maybe if I look long enough I'll find that Kimber Eclipse my wife wants...

Last month I was going through some boxes of extra motorcycle parts to sell and found a can with 500 rounds of 7.62x39 Wolf I had forgotten about when I moved.... :D

Only slugs and shotgun shells. I tend to pick a bunch up when they're on sale and end up shooting just a few boxes in the winter months. Seems like every container ends up with a few.

I used to have a little Colt 25acp pocket pistol. Like a tiny 1911. Anyways, when I was moving, we moved a book case, and it was under their. I had completly forgot about the thing. It must have gotten under their somehow, and I just never missed it. I figured it must have been under their at least a year.LOL

I opened my safe and found an Armi-Sport 1861 Springfield replica. I completely forgot that I had one.

When I was young, about 14 or 15, I had a Feather AT22. One day it's magazine holder piece broke. I also had a bolt action .22 and a Shotgun so I didn't bother getting it fixed. Then I went off to serve in the Army and came back with an AR15 and HK USP. After working security for a few years I eventually started College and joined the UF Pistol and Rifle club. When I was back home looking through some of my old stuff I came across that Feather AT22. It had been about 10 years since I even thought about it. It had surface rust and cob webs all over it. I took it back to Gainesville with me cleaned it up and bought a new magazine holder assembly (I think it was around $10) and some other accessories for it. After replacing the mag assembly and cleaning it real gun it fired good as new. It is probably the funnest .22 plinkers I have ever owned.

Now, do you see how it could get lost.:D

It's actually a 38 Special with just a little bit left over.

I was cleaning out the bottom of the gun cabinet the other day and found about 150 38 special reloads, and 16-18 30/30's that I forgot I had. I haven't had a gun for either for a right good while.

This morning, in my closet, I found a Browning Stainless Stalker in 7mm08 that I'd forgotten that I had.

But then, I woke up.

If i were to find any guns lying around here that I didn't know about, I'd be seriously worried, :uhoh: seeing that I don't have any licenses :what:
