I am holding it via the ram. It's a black powder pistol. It's halftime, so I figured I have time to ask, as I have always wondered.
 
Love the screen name!!! And welcome.

I am no lawyer nor experienced in the law, but my thought process is that since its black powder, technically it isn't a firearm therefore the traditional pistol laws don't apply.

Look forward to seeing what others say on the subject
 
The ram will not insert into the chamber until the cylinder has already turned after cocking the hammer. What is the point?
 
BigG, you cock the hammer THEN fire...

I was wondering if the pistol gets classified as AOW if fired as such.
 
I suspect the OP is just trying to make a point about the silliness of some of the laws. I doubt anyone ever did, or ever would, use the rammer as a forward pistol grip.
