A couple of weeks ago I ordered the metal .380 plate for my shell sorter set. I've been having a problem with .380 brass in my 9mm brass. It really breaks the rhythm on a progressive press when those little buggers come through.
Yesterday I decided to try it out. I took 100 9mm cases and mixed in 20 .380 cases and threw them on the sorter.
I got 21 .380 cases out of the batch. I guess my visual inspection of the 100 wasn't quite perfect. So I sorted around three gallons of 9mm brass. It took me about 10 minutes. I got quite a few .380 out of the mix.
Next up will be the four gallons of mixed range brass I need to clean and separate.
