Not sure if this should be here or in the shotguns forum, but here goes...

Ithaca Gun is back in business. Home office is now located in Upper Sandusky, Ohio. Website is still under contruction, but Ithaca is [bad pun warnings here] 'booming', 'going great guns', 'running full bore', etc, etc, etc

Good to see an American company running again.

Never owned an Ithaca, but used a few over the years. Personal view is that they are pretty good shotguns.

You've got to love a company that names a firearm "Deerslayer".
Now, if they will only come out with an "Idiotslayer".

Wouldn't it be nice if Ithaca would license the Winchester name from Olin and keep Winchester rifle production here in the US now that FN is closing the plant? Maybe Ithaca could produce the 1866 and 1973 models that the cowboy shooters love so much so they wouldn't have to buy any more Ubertis.
