Hi. Certain this is on this site but my Kindle Fire simply will not allow me to type in the search bar.
So I'm going to risk the wrath and ask for recommendations for an IWB for my cz75d compact. Though honestly I don't get the compact designation. The Rami is compact this model is just not as large as the regular cz75.
As a rider to my holster question, anyone know if the aluminium grips offer any advantages over the factory rubber?
Looks like they may thin the grip a good amount and I imagine the possibility for some fabrics to snag would be minimized but I don't have a spare $100 lying about just to test. Thoughts?
Thanks in advance.

Really? 60 views and no one has an opinion on holsters for this firearm? Odd.
But okay, I guess there's lots of others who would like to know as well.
Ill look more on the internets when I get some time and post back up with the selection I find.

I had hoped to avoid this by posting here as I'm sure there are more options on the Internet than I'm able to try in person but I shall endevor to take one for the team...so to speak.:)
Appreciate the looks at my post and hopefully this isn't read as, um, less than "High "Road" as it was not typed that way.
I will post up some options I find and if I'm able to find them locally Ill try and review them so this info will be available.
Cheers and thanks again all.

Welcome to the forum. Sorry we disappointed you. Sometime responses flow in immediately, and sometimes they don't. You just need to wait a few days for folks to find your thread.

High Noon is very popular with the CZ guys. They make a very good product and cover just about every CZ model available. They also have some great holster information in their "Questions" section.

I don't know much about AlumaGrips, but they are pretty popular with the 1911 crowd, though I don't don't think they are for me. VZ Grips makes some interesting micarta grips for the CZ if you are looking for something different than the factory grips.

You might consider the FIST Model 14 'convertable'.

It has loops and slots. Loops for IWB and with the loops removed, exposes slots for threading the belt OWB. The 'sweat shield', aka 'fat tab', helps in re-holstering an IWB.

Leather is very subjective. What is great for Moe might not suit Curley at all.

Thanks!
Not really disapointed, more surprised. I've read on this site for a long time before joining and have seen a lot of CZ fans.
Again I apologize if the second post came off rude, not at all my intention. One of my reasons for finally joining was that type of attitude is rare, and the large knowledge base of course!

When the subject is leather, knowledgeable opinion is still opinion.

I have a scabbards built by talented craftsmen that were highly touted and had a multi-month waiting list. They are now in a cardboard box.

Either FIST or Bromeland suit my needs as I seen them.

Some folks like Chevy, Chysler, or Ford. I like Studebakers.

'Luck to you,

Rarely do I do IWB with my 75 compact, but when I do, I use a cheap Uncle Mike nut back or a no name nylon I picked up a gun show. Mostly it is a kydex paddle.

UGB knute or strieker,I use the Strieker for my P-01 and it holdes the pistol
close, low and distributes the weight well.

I carry my CZ-75D PCR in a Bianchi holster designed for the Sig P228/P229. It fits great, and actually better than the Sig I bought it for as its slightly slimmer.

HNH is one of the few makers that has anything for CZs, let alone the D Compact. This gun doesn't seem to be the same dimensions as the steel Compact; I tried a Kydex for one and mine wouldn't fit. As noted, it will fit, in a pinch, in a leather holster made for the SIG P228/229 without a rail.

I find that just about any leather holster designed for compact standard size Glocks (19, 23, 32) is a very good fit for the 75D. That would not apply for Kydex or plastic.

We think the CZ line is great, we also have added the CZP09.

Wow old thread revived.

My vote for IWB is a Milt Sparks Summer Special II.

OWB on the other hand, it's hard to do better than a High Noon.
