I’m a Ruger guy,
Blackhawk 357 mag, P89, P95, P345, SR9, Security 9, Ruger 57, and more
Then, I jumped ship and bought an IWI Masada. (Sorry Bill)
In the crowded Wonder 9 market I felt the Masada is a lot of gun for $400. Optics ready, 3 back straps, removable chassis, etc.
Any opinions?

Tagfolio Witness, M&P 9 (older version), Walther CCP M2, Masada, Canik, Security 9, Taurus G2C….there are a lot of solid options for a home or personal defense 9mm now that work very well and won’t break the bank… truly a “golden age” for buyers looking in this area .

Glad to see the Masada is one you chose. Israel has a rep for making no-nonsense defensive arms that run and run, I think the Masada will follow that pattern. :)

When you get a chance to stretch it’s legs at the range let us know how it shoots for you.

Stay safe.

I agree that it seems like a really solid deal at the price point. I wouldn't hesitate to pick one up, but I'm set on polymer 9s for the time being. If I'm able to find a steal at a LGS or online I wouldn't hesitate. I'm also curious to hear your thoughts once you get a chance to shoot it.

F1B639B8-5EB4-4E46-87B7-3E006C10B0CC.jpeg It’s a great pistol. With an optic on it is very accurate. Good Ergos, fun to shoot. And for the price it’s as good as guns that cost twice as much. And it’s nice looking. Very attractive finish on the slide. It looks better in person than in pics. I have one and definitely recommend it.

I like em'.
If I didn't have a bunch of 9's already I would have bought one

I would have to agree with Nacho Man on that! IWI has typically made well built and reliable guns though I don't often see them in gun shops or at gun shows. If I were in the market for another 9mm., I would certainly consider getting one.

And here I was thinking I was the only member of this forum that would admit to liking the CCP.

The Masada appears to be a good buy but I have never even seen on in the flesh. Of course my gunshop choices are limited and small in this area so there isn't a huge selection to browse.

I have a CCP M2 that was originally purchased for the wife (Cerakoted robin egg blue too, slide left stainless). She didn't warm up to it, so now this girly looking pistol is mine again. I like it fine... perhaps not drooling over it, but it's a light-recoiling and accurate little single stack.

There is a little girl (guessing 7 or 8) that has a YouTube channel who did a video of this gun. She is quite articulate and knows what she is doing. The gun proved to run flawlessly and accurately as she demolished multiple targets.
Watch!

I can't think of a company who has really screwed up the Glock striker-pistol formula, other than the S&W Sigma. It seems nearly foolproof.
