Not guns but books I've been hunting for years. V.M. Starr's book from long ago on the muzzle loading shotgun and, the grail book for trap shooters,, A.H. Bogardus' Field, Cover, and Trap shooting. Captain B was from Elkhart, IL, A Civil War veteran and arguably during the late ,19th century, in his words "greatest trap shooter in the world".
Shot live pigeon for big money. Invented glass ball target.

Starr's "book" was a disappointment from a content standpoint. Maybe ten pages in pamphlet form, $1.25 shipped postage paid in the US.". On he cover.
It is an original.
Bogardus's is a reprint and a wonderful history of the game fields in central Illinois in the years after the Civil War, or as my friends in Corinth call it, "the war of Northern agression,". Read five chapters today
