Jackrabbits in Malheur county,oregon

Howdy all. 1st time dropping into this part of THR.


Saw a local tv show last night that featured the jackrabbit explosion in Eastern Oregon.I think the program was a year old,but they showed Illions of jackrabbits..and the damage they do to wheat crops.

anybody here hunt them,and are they still overrunning the area out there?

If Jacks are a problem in Malheur Co. I would like to know where.
IIRC it is farther west in Harney County that is having the Jack troubles. The parts of Malhure Co. we frequented last summer and didn't see one jack, do you recall the show, or know where more info can be found?
