I've been searching a bit for a compact .45 and I was seriously considering a Bersa UC .45. Spent a bit od time today searching the online shops and nobody has them in stock. I hit all the major sites, Bud's first, and none available. Then I cruised Gunbroker and Auctionarms and there were a few but priced way above retail (Davidson's pricing).

While on Gunbroker I did a search for semi-autos with the parameter ".45" and just started to page through them. Found the one below, an RIA Compact with 3 mags, 2 sets of grips, quality IWB holster, box and papers - and it was a local guy. Immediately hit the buy it now and picked it up this afternoon. A couple of places have these new for $350 or so but by the time you add shipping and FFL fees, I did good at $425 cash. Looks nearly unfired, owner said maybe 400-500 rounds through it in total...

Two paths here -
1) Shoot good factory ammo until you are bankrupt;
2) If 1) above fails, RIA has, seemingly, the world's best warranty.

I would never not advise an RIA. Every manufacturer ships less than optimal goods. RIA will stand behind what IT ships. Welcome to the play-pen. PM me and I'll show you an RIA only forum.
