I just wanted to take a second and thank JM for a very nice holster for my P226R with CT Railmaster. I went with his Version 2 Light Bearing. The rest of the features are left-handed, 10* cant, no guard, high ride, 1.5" kydex belt loops and gray for the color. It fits snug to my body and doesn't interfere with either my back or front pocket on the side. The draw is comfortable and re-holstering is a breeze, just kinda "snaps" into place.

Again, a huge endorsement and thanks to JM Custom Kydex

First off, good looking holster, and I'm glad you like it.

Is that holster designed for that CT Railmaster, or is it designed for a mounted light? If designed for the mounted light, and you are using it with the laser, does it still give good retention?

When you talked to the JM guys did you tell them what you were planning, and did they say that was the best option?

I sent him the laser so he could use it when making the holster, so its a perfect fit. I sent him several emails before purchasing, he made it very easy and was super nice to work with.

OK, I see the moulding for the laser. I was thrown off by the tube shape on the holster extending from the trigger guard towards the muzzle. Pretty cool.

Tony at JM Custom Kydex is a very good holster maker, and a very knowledgeable guy with regards to holster design. I have used his holsters for several years. He is well known for making top notch appendix holsters for service size handguns.

I use two JMCK appendix holsters. One for a G17 and one for a G17 with a CT Lightguard WML. He makes a excellent product.

DT Guy has it right. I use a paint pen on the edges. It wears off eventually. Good for numbering magazines too.
