The anectodal feedback on JP's CTR-02 .223 ar-15 is quite favorable...
athough i never know if its expressed by those with an agenda (ie JP aficianados)
The aesthetics of the rife is what draws me to it...
the CNC'd upper receiver is a piece of art -
and certainly a nice change from the mil-spec!
Match grade barrel (24 in, 1:9) with well made comp...adjustible gas block...
Proprietary low mass bolt carrier assy, JP VTAC free float handguards,
proven JP trigger group...whats not to like!
However, my intention is to use this rifle as a dedicated bench rested, scoped tack driver....
not for IPSC/run-and-gun/3 competition.
Complete upper....$1375.....complete rifle over $2K
Now, my optional build...
24 in Krieger brl (1:9), cut at Compass Lake...
Les Baer upper receiver (alum billet, CNC'd), FF HG, jewell trigger, magpul PMS stock...
complete rifle about $1300...proven tack driver out to 500 yds!
Anyone with experience or 2nd hand info with the JP rifle?
Help me make an informed decision so buyers regret is avoided:banghead:
TIA
