Once in a while you pick something up at the range that's different....here's one.
I've seen Mauser cartridges before, but not Turkish one's on the ground on a New Mexico Rifle Range. 8mm x 57? What's 7.9 mean? Is there a 7.9mm Mauser? 1942 vintage made in Belgium? (FS)
Couldn't resist polishing it up....never seen a brass bullet on one either.... I don't usually collect cartridges, but this a display piece if I ever saw one. Primers punched....must have been a dud. Whoever tried to shoot this in NM had some really old ammo they were shooting.
