Congratulations, I bought the same about 4 months ago. I still have not shot mine yet. I was waiting on ammo . I now have a 1000 rds. of different Russia ammo. Last week at the gun show I picked up 500 rds. of Brown Bear for $125.00 . Just about 2 months ago I paid $162.50 for the same ammo. So the good news ammo prices are coming down. That is what I am going to use for plinking.
I really like how it feels and to my surprise I like the trigger, I can't say the same about my M&P 15 trigger, don't want to start a war, just my out the box comparison of my 2 rifles.

Tula will work, as will WPA (Wolf) and whatever else is available.
My two favorite Russian brands for my SAM7 are Golden Tiger (most accurate) and the earlier Wolf Military Classic HP (w/ 8m3 fragmenting bullet). Good luck finding these...
