Just bought new binos ; first in 15 yrs.

How will they stack up against my old
Wind River 10X42 Pinnacles?

The Pinnacles were very nice in their day I can't wait to get these out in the field side by side, and spot a big buck!

I've gone from larger to smaller, with some success. Originally I got a nice Nikon, but it's a tad
heavy.
Recently I've switched to a Leupold Rogue. 1/3rd the weight and size, 2/3 of the spotting ability.
They're a nice, light trade off, especially if you're on the move. The Nikons are still nice for a stand.

Reverse Porro?
We are glassing wide open country, out to a mile, thought I would try some roof prism 12X never had those before. I can hunker and prop these up on my shooting stick, which has worked well for me.
