Just got my first bonus from work and I'm looking at getting a new rifle. It will be used as a defensive carbine, fun at the range gun, and hopefully I'll take some classes with it. I've had a few in mind and cannot for the life of me pick one. I've already got a bcm ar15 so keep in mind I've already got a ton of mags and ammo for that.

From that list I'd pick the Tavor. It's a well designed rifle that is well made and doesn't have any real significant flaws.
One to look at that's not on your list is the Beretta ARX. It isn't just another AR clone and the design is different and interesting. They are available from $1200 on up too.
I've done write ups with pics that are posted on this forum.
If you don't have a strong reason to go with .308 I'd avoid it since the ammo runs around 2X of what .223 does. The savings on a couple cases would get you close to buying another rifle.

I was thinking tavor as well, a big plus that they use AR mags as I already have quite a few. Hoping I can find a good price for a 16 inch OD green model. Hoping around $1300 then I can put a trigger pack in right away. I've seen them around that price but you have to jump on it right away. As far as a training class I've been looking hard at attending a course at Valor Ridge. Just wanted to get something before the Hillary scare makes it impossible.

I voted Tavor. You can use the same mags as your BCM.
I don't think the SCAR 17 will be all that much less than the LWRC, unless this is some new "economy" model from them.
The SCAR 17 is great if you like getting gouged on spare mags (2X+ compared to Pmags in the Knights/DPMS pattern). Seriously, I do like mine a lot, it has a very effective muzzle brake so despite being my lightest .308 it also has the least felt recoil. OTOH it not easy to mount a suppressor to it.

The Scar offers nothing significant over an AR, IMO, aside from unnecessary weight and bulk.
If you like the Tavor, that's an easy choice. If you prefer the AK platform, Krebs Custom makes some of the best. Depends what platform you prefer.
