Just got 'em yesterday. Loaded a few hundred rounds last night --all single stage. I like the single stage press for the control. I wanted to keep using it, but I wanted to speed things up a little.

The unit has a powder measure, trickler and scale all in one unit. The scale can be disconnected. You can key a weight in measure and push a button and it will dispense the powder, trickle right up to the correct weight, and beep to let you know it is ready. If it is over or under, it will say, and you can correct it by pressing the trickle key. It counts the loads too, and the ones you have to fix only get counted once. It is smart to a point. The thing I like best though is this: when I dump the powder into the brass and put the pan back on the scale, it automatically dumps the next load while I'm seating the bullet. Kind of like having someone helping you.

I haven't programmed loads, but you can put 30 in there I think. Others will hold more, but I don't know if they are as fast or have all the other features. This one seemed to be the most well rounded, and I like that the scale can be separated. The hopper holds a lot, much more than my measure. The scale is spot on. It has two check weights for calibration, and I have another for my 5-0-5 scale. I used that one to check this one and it is spot on. Exactly spot on. I love this thing, if you like using a single stage press and you weigh each charge for consistency, then you are missing out without this.

The prep station is pretty simple. It is simply a box with a motor and gears inside that turn five threaded spindles, some protrude, some don't. Will run primer pocket cleaners, deburr tools, decrimping tool and uniforming tool simultaneously. I have joint problems, and my hands hurt when I have to deburr a bunch of brass and clean the pockets. This thing speeds things up a lot, I can do all of it right after trimming, and it doesn't hurt my hands at all. Very nice. Simple, simple machine, very useful. But if I didn't have a trimmer already or needed one, I'd get the Hornady one that does it all.

Well, I just wanted to tell y'all about these items. Really sped things up a lot and didn't impede on how I do it. The scale/dispenser was expensive, but it sure helps out a lot.

Got a Chargemaster a few weeks ago, love it so far!
It makes load workup a breeze, fast and accurate!

Anyone figure out a good way to drain excess powder out when done? I've been opening the discharge gate and dumping it into a powder tray, a little bit at a time and blowing into the trickle tube to get the last few grains out. But I tend to overfill the hopper by alot, and I make a mess when draining it. Im afraid if I lift it off the bench, I'll disrupt the cal. I was thinking of making a platform for it so I can just dump right back into the Hodgdon/IMR containers. But also I think this will change the ergonomics of the ease of use.

craigman. just pull the unit to the edgeof your bench and open the drain with the original container under the spout and the container off the edge of the bench. easy as pie.

Anyone figure out a way to remember to close the discharge chute BEFORE dumping powder into the unit.

Cleaning out is easy - open discharge chute over edge of table as previous suggested - then push discharge button to eliminate any powder in tube - may have to push several times.
I blow out with light compressed air before switching powder types.

Verify several powder dumps against a balance scale - adjust electronically as required for correct load amount. (Works for me!)

Remember - your unit is Made-in-China, so don't abuse it.

I SURE DO WISH WE COULD BRING OUR MANUFACTURING BACK TO THE USA !!!!!!
