So I got a call yesterday offering me a dragunov tiger with pso-1 scope in original box, with 500 plus rounds. I had to take it home, but it failed to come with a magazine. Anyone know of a place I can pick up a mag?

I bought a 10 round one on BG for $120.

Got any pictures?

nice, how much? Are you going to puy SVD parts on it?

I bought mine at a garage sale last year for $1,000 + $900 in SVD upgrades. Still waiting on the flash hider.

Yours looks in excelent condition. Where did you find it?

That is an awesome price. Nice score. You are going to love it. Does the scope light up?

If you need anything for the scope, kalinka optics has parts. I bought the battery adaptor to use two D357 batteries and a green led. They also have red, blue and white led's.

Scopes does not light up, but it has an original battery... So I wouldn't be shocked if its dead. I'll need to find that adapter and give that a shot.

check and see if it has the original bulb or led. if it does, its probably burned out. Did you find a mag yet? Also, if you want a bi pod for it, ebay has an exact all steel constructed SVD bi pod that goes on the reciever. I've been told that a bi pod mounted to the barrel messes with the barrel harmonics. The ebay on is $50. An origina SVD bipod is $350+. I have the $50 ebay one and it is solid and works great.

Hope you get to shoot it soon :)

Bipod is picked up. Yeah, it's the original bulb and battery... So I'm guessing that's the issue, so I'll try and fix it up back to working condition. And gotta find that dang mag!

You guys have gotten me all sorts of interested in this Dragunov! Nice rifles, fellas. I found where all of those video game reticles come from! Would love to learn how to use that range finder someday. Wikipedia claims an effective range of 1300m. Mighty impressive with a 4x sight! Is that really possible?

Glad you got a mag :)

@jpg19.

About the scope. It is set up for the height of a human target. Mine is 1.7 meters. You put the bottom of the target (like someones feet) and move the gun until the top of the target touches the curved line. Where the top touches the curved line, that is the distance. So if the top of the target touches say the 300 meter mark, you then just dial the top dial on the scope to 300 meters. Then to sight on the central cheveron to hit your target.
