I'm excited :)

I went to the E.TN THR shoot at Coal Creek Armory sunday, and noticed some very nice prices on a case of S&W revolvers. A little waffling and I decided that I was going to come back wednesday (debt sucks) and drop a deposit on a blued 19-4, at least I think that's what it was. (no expectation of it still being there though, that's just business)

Instead, I ended up with something I think I'm actually happier with :) Walked in wednesday, talked to Tamara, and hey hey, on hold for me is a 1980 model S&W 66-1 with Bill Jordan grips. It's a wee bit rough, but then it was a carried weapon... Once I have it in my hot little hands I'm going to be polishing my heart out :)

I'm so happy :)

The K-frame 357's were great duty weapons. I do not advise a constant diet of 110 or 125 grain full power magnum loads, but otherwise they are great. The grip size is ideal, the size and weight of this revolver made it nice for all day carry.
