Just purchased a 6.5 creedmoor for grandson.

I handload my 6.5 creed with a 127 gr Barnes lrx, and it does a number on deer. I've also used a 140 gr sierra bullet (I don't remember which one), and it wiuld fragment into little pieces and deer would always run farther than they should have. Above all else get something that will shoot accurate and reliably open up and stay together.
