Well, his guns are free of any of the tacticool accessories I see on guns in here, and the stuff he's talking about is more leveled in reality than some of the posts I see here about various SD situations. THe video is pretty corny but this is what most people sound like. See how silly it looks in real life and not typed?

This may be slightly of topic but...

These videos bring up a question I have had for a long time. With the advent of youtube and the internet in general, it seems that more and more BGs are thinking about body armor and they have the ability to cheaply and easily acquire it.

If you would be unlucky enough to run up against an armored assailant what is your best course of action?

Good God, what is it with these guys and cammo and ski masks? The last time I wore a leg holster and put a sling on the rifle to practice transition drills at the range I didn't bother wearing ACUs or BDUs. I was wearing boots though; damn, does that make me a mall ninja?

The 2nd guy was hilarious though. "I can't demonstrate with my rifle because I threw it when it jammed last week and some skinnies stole it".

I've seen this scenario taught before. It's called the failure drill, aka the Mozambique drill (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mozambique_Drill). Basically, I'd say just keep shooting till the threat drops and drops their weapon.

But honestly, unless you're rather rich, and known to be rich [and armed], I wouldn't worry about a home invasion by somebody who'd bought body armor. That stuff still costs a bit, especially for Level III plates and carrier. We're talking about thousands of dollars.

Now soft armor, who knows, some hoodlum might be able to pick a set up for a few hundred and might actually wear it while breaking in. Just to be safe, use a shotgun and aim for the head or just use a rifle for home defense.

The biggest difference between this guy and NUTNFANCY is that this guy is joking, while NUTNFANCY is being completely serious. What's funny though is that NUTNFANCY is generally respected. They're both way over the top.
