Hi, I just purchased a K31 rifle from AIM last night. I've been buying a lot of C&R from them as they seem to get periodic shipments of guns that sell out quick. Anyways, how does everyone like their K31? Also, for those who reload for it, what bullet do I need to buy? Thanks.

Advice: these top eject and if you lower the rifle and eject hard you can bounce brass off your teeth or eye. They can be easily cycled from the shoulder. There are milsurp slings and muzzle caps too.

Like mine very much, I am still shooting G11 milsurp ammo, which is the equivalent of the finest match ammo.

I bought one a while back from AIM. The bore is excellent, finish is 80-85%, stock has some wear but nothing bad. All honest wear, but no tag under the plate on mine. It shoots great and to POA at 100yds. I haven't started reloading as I am still shooting up Prvi ammo for the brass. From what I have read, you can use a Berger 175 VLD if you're really picky and feel like spending $$$$, but any nice 168/175 should be fine.

Post a pic of your new K31.
I like K31's very much. I only shoot surplus GP11 ammo.

'51 and '42.

Not sure what bullet you need for reloading, but GP11 uses a very long taper bullet.

I love mine! Bought about 9 years ago from AIM for around $90. The serial number puts the date of manufacture in 1937.

Mine has shot some of the finest groups I've ever shot out of a milsurp. If you're looking to load for it 168 or 174 grain Sierra match Kings and a nice charge of Reloader 17 will do it.

They're fine rifles.

Love my K31! It shoots great. I shoot GP-11 out of mine because that's what I have. I am setup to reload but I haven't been able to find .308 bullets around here for a while so I don't have any loads for it yet.

I love my K31. Like others have mentioned, it is the most accurate mil-surp I've ever fired. Heck, it's one of the most accurate rifles I have ever fired period.

I've only stuffed GP11 ammo through it though. I bought up a bunch back when I got the gun.

I load for 3 different K-31's, the best combination I've found so far is a Berger 168 grain VLD over Reloder 17.
