I noticed that Keep and Bear Arms.com is down. I've done traceroutes and pings to keepandbeararms.com, doesn't arrive at the server at all.

Just in case this is just a DNS screwup, I'm on Comcast broadband, from client.attbi.com.

What's the deal?

Their mail server is up. I just sent myself a test message, and got it at my KABA account immediately.

Web mail probably won't be. Set mail.keepandbeararms.com as POP3 server in your mail program (mozilla mail, eudora, fetchmail, outleak, etc.).

Theory:

A patch was released to fix yet ANOTHER new RPC vulnerability (you know, one of the things that you can completely take control of another person's computer), and that might have downed KABA again.

Good guess! We think it's another Microsuck patch! Working on it. :banghead:

Tell me again....

I can't access either. Tell me what address you are using to access the mail. I am not able to get to my email and would really like to do so.
Thanks
Bob

Different error, though

But I'm getting an error much different than the one on KABA.

I'd like to think that this isn't an anti prank! :cuss:

DNS is working, domain registration is working...

>Ping has started ...

>PING keepandbeararms.com (65.124.200.23): 56 data bytes

>--- keepandbeararms.com ping statistics ---
>10 packets transmitted, 0 packets received, 100% packet loss

There is a web server running on http Port 80 but it isn't delivering anythin.

Thanks Tempest...

for the mail address. We just got a new 'puter and all my old bookmarks left with the old one.
Bob

No problem

You're very welcome, Bob. :)

Those of you who thought it was a hack may have been right. As our tech guy was tracking the system last night when I was on the phone with him, he said "someone is trying like hell to hack us right now."

I'm wondering why is it you never hear of anti's getting hacked on a regular basis. Happens to us an awful lot, doesn't it?
