I've owned 2 since Kahr bought Thompson and fondled several others. It's still hit and miss IMO. The WWII model I had shot well, but wasn't put together that well, ie, loose front sight, plunger tube, slide to frame fit. The Deluxe model I owned was put together better. The ones I've handled since then have had similar fit issues. Nothing really major, just sloppy pistolsmithing. If they offer a compact, I might just look into that and see if these are built better. I would love to give business to an American gunmaker making a good 1911 at an affordable price.
