Experience or opinions?

I have read all of the internet info about problems with early guns.

Anybody obtained one lately?

I bought a cw45 a few months ago. It has been 100% reliable from day one. I first only used fmj to break it in, Federal and s&b mostly. I have fired speer and federal jhp also with no issues. I like the grip angle and the sights. It is light weight and easy to carry but recoil is easily controlled I guess because of the full grip. I like the gun and it is in my carry rotation.

Thanks.
Good to hear.. My wife chose one to replace her S&W J frame for EDC, and I was impressed enough that I bought one a couple of days later.

Gonna be quite a transition for me from carrying a 1915 vintage S&W .45 revolver, to a light weight pistol.

Bought one a little over a year ago, nice gun. My compact 1911 mags worked in it perfectly which was a nice touch.

I saw the deal on the 1911 mags. Sold my Officers Model a few years back.
Gun show tomorrow.. Will be looking for an old mag for sure.

We went to the range today.. About 50 rounds thru each gun just to test function. Not a glitch with either gun. They buck and snort, but they shoot right where you point them.
More shooting required to break them in, but I think we are both going to like these little rascals.
