unless there is an absolute neeed to do so, why strip it down. You can buy at napa for $2 high pressure non cholorinated brake cleaner and blow every area of that upper slide out without dissembly IMO. there is even a little hole under the slide to get intot he firing pin area, just stick the spray tube in there and spray away and watch the fluids come out from the back of the slide and also the front through the firng pin hole. Ejector area the same thing. I have over 11,000 rounds through my pm9 without one malfunction and so far I have not take the slide down. I do all of the above then a few drips of oil back in those areas and it is good to go. Just my opinion, but also that detailed photos and instructions just listed is the best out.
