Kansas City Area (North) shoot....?

I'm willing to host a shoot up at my farm/range near Smithville, MO. About 11 miles east of the KCI Airport & a couple miles north of I-435.

Please respond with your interest in such a shoot. We can nail down a weekend (Sat or Sun) or an evening shoot(s) after work.

I'm set up for pistols (plate rack, bells, steel sheets) and of course paper.

I'm set up for rifle up to 150 yds. One steel plate capable of withstanding rifle action and of course paper.

I have "benches(s)" at 100 and 50 yards and have posts marked at 10, 15, & 25 yards.

The range is dirt, suggest we shoot on a dry day!

I also have a pop-up shade type unit we can use to eliminate some cases of sun-stroke!

O.K. Folks here's First Shoot Date...

Karli just told me I'm "open" next Saturday and I'd
like to take advantage of it since the wedding will be coming
up soon and it may be a month or so before I can set another date.

Next Saturday morning...June 19th. Let's start around 9 or 10 am (in case it's a REAL nasty hot day).

I need each of you who are interested in shooting to drop me an e-mail so I can send you directions. I will want to exchange cell/phone numbers so we can get & stay in touch. We'll hope for good weather!

If the deal goes well, then I'd be happy to consider some future shoots as well!

I apologize to those who can not make it on this date.

If we have a number of shooters, we'll need to take turns and kick back in-between shooters...

I can pretty well shoot all day (keep the range open most all day).

Hi guys, I'm new to this board but I've been on a couple others like Shooters, Glocktalk, Rimfirecentral, etc. I've been to Bob's range twice and it's a really nice range. We will have a ball.

By the way, if any of you would like to come out and shoot bowling pins at a range near Desoto, KS (Millcreek Rifle Range) on a Wed night, let me know. I belong to an organization out there that shoots bowling pins every wed night starting around 6:30.

Desoto is directly west of Lenexa in case you're wondering. The range is about 5 miles west of K-7 and 83rd street.

The Mid West Pinblasters started shooting pins a LONG time ago down in the basement of the Bullet Hole in Overland Park. Several years ago we moved out to Millcreek when we finally got permission to build the 10 yard range there. Anyone is welcome on Wed night. You do not have to be a member of Millcreek to shoot pins with us. (The rest of the range is members or guests with members only.)
