Yep. To protest via ***** displays. Many of the commenters on the "event" Facebook page don't even seem to realize that, come August 1, handguns on campuses must still be concealed.

The protest is scheduled to take place on August 24, 2016

I don't think the Spring semester begins until September and the Summer session should be finished by then. Not sure there will even be 1000 students at UT on 8/24/16.
