I will persevere with this gun until it works properly, but the cost of sending a gun back to Kel-Tec means that I'll either fix it myself or get a competent smith to make the thing work right.
Kel-Tec usually pays at least $20 of your shipping costs if you supply them with a recipt. Be sure to call them first.

Good luck

:what: , not sure what I started here, "didn't want to start WORLD WAR 3, but, just came back from the range.......and to let all know, b4 going I cleaned it and basically gave it a bath in MIL TEC, also got a couple of boxes of WINCH-WHITE BOX FMJ- and the results =
envelope please.... 12 out of 50 jams its better then 38 out 50;) so I guess I'll thro a couple hundred through b4 I make any "RASH" decisions. Also another shooter had just puchased a MAK, still had the GUNK on the barrel, outside of course- he allowed me to try it- at 7yds I had less then inch and a half groupings actually looked like 1 big hole- I was surprised. I'll keep working on the little bugger and keep you all informed. THANK YOU AGAIN FOR THE HELP

Makarov, good. Kel-Tec, Bad.:D

I don't even know what a "Pro-Tec" is but Fyler seems to think I own one..

Taking off the mag safety on guns is a simple and harmless operation that doesn't effect reliability. The mag safety has nothing to do with feeding and ejecting of ammo. Everyone who ownes a BHP knows how to take off the mag safety and they often do.

If you bought your gun New take it back to the Dealer. My dealer said that guns under warranty will be shipped free of charge. I havent had to use this feature yet.:D I have had alot of guns that are ammo picky. I find that Remington FMJs are reliable in my P32. Try them in your P3AT. Again too much F&B could be a bad thing. And you may think that this is crazy. But you do have to have a firm grip (two hands) on these "buggers" as you called yours.;)

Ill agree that the Makarov is a whole different animal. My Russian Mak (380acp) has been through nearly 2000rds of various ammo. No Problems. It too was fired straight from the holster that came with it. And has been through all kinds of conditions or my torture test about like the Glock.:D

The Star BM9? After hearing from my dealer today. Im going to sit back and watch and wait to see if you guys still like yours about a year from now. My dealer wasnt pleased. But he's a ButtHead. And there are no parts available as we know of.

KT P32 is the TROLL with Pro Tec 22. LOL!!
