The KelTec P-11 is my regular CCW carry gun. The P-3AT is my wife's regular carrygun. Very very light pistols for day to day comfortable carry, with a lot of firepower for their size.

The DAO triggers are long and for sure not for targets. But I want to really MEAN to pull the trigger.
 
I have a Keltec P32 - I got it last year - I like it a lot. If U buy a Keltec gun - just make sure to get a Generation 2 - they are more reliable.

There is a pic floating around showing the difference - but the main difference is that gen 2 has something similar to rivit on the outside of the slide behind the ejection port.
 
Are any of the Kel-tec pistols good? Like the p-11? I have a sub 2000 and it works great.

They're great little pistols. I've heard that the PF-9 is having reliability issues, but I've never touched one myself, so that's second hand at best. I have a P3AT and P-11, neither of which has ever malfunctioned on me. I prefer the trigger on the P3AT to the trigger on the P-11, but neither is what I'd call crisp and light. They're also ugly as sin. The finish on them is the worst out of any of my firearms. They go boom every single time, though.

That is part of the beauty of these babies... I am not worried about mine.

My Walther with the nice finish, I worry about. Even though it doesn't work right now.
 
P3AT is very small, reliable and cheap. Don't really care if it accidentally gets put in the same pocket as my keys.

PLR16 is tons of fun and reliable too.
 
I own three: 2x P32 and 1x P40.

The P40 sure is a handful when lighting off a round.
 
I agree with every poster before me, and will add that if you shoot your carry guns alot, the P11 will not last. Mine developed burrs under the slide, and needed constant smoothing out. This is with only 500rds down range. I lubed the thing with grease, like the manual said, but it didn't help. My P11 was 100% reliable, but the trigger sucked bad enough to throw my shots off. I do like my P32 better, it also runs 100%, but I dont shoot it alot. The small framed KTs, are unbeatable for light weight and concealability.:)

Ditto. My Brother's Gen 1 gun was a POS. While I personally haven't tried Gen 2 Keltec, I know people who own them and they swear by them.
 
The bolt on the extractor of the Generation 2 guns is pretty hard to miss. I believe they refer to it as the "Frankenbolt" over on ktog.

I owned a P11 for two years and never had a failure of any kind with it. This includes shooting cheap Russian ammo through it. From what KT fans say ALL of their pistols are good, although the early models (serial number below 25,000) of the P11 had some problems. Even the gun magazines, which tend to favor 1911 type guns, are giving good reviews to the PF-9. You may also find that the P11 and PF9, which use the same 3.1 inch barrell, are surprisingly accurate for such little guns with short barrells.

I have 3 - P32, P3AT, P11.
The P3 is my daily carry, the P32 is my "around the yard" carry, and the P11 is only for when I'm wearing heavy clothes.
It's the 3rd P11 I've had. this one has the chromed slide over navy blue grips - rare color combo, and a very nice-looking piece. If I could find the same colors in the P3AT I'd upgrade that also.
Traded the previous P3AT for a SU16A, which is a very neat fold-up .222 carbine that uses AR mags.
 
All 3 Kel-Tec pistols I've had have worked great out of the box. A P-32, P-11 and PF-9. I've known others whose guns needed a trip back to Kel-Tec to work properly. KT has good customer service if you need it, but hopefully you won't.
 
I just picked up a P11 and it shoots great. Well.. the act of shooting anyway, the person behind the gun needs some serious range time to get used to DAO. My accuracy isn't anything to brag about with other guns, but with this thing, my first 2 range trips have been horrid. ;)

It also seems to beat my hand up pretty bad. I put about 100 rounds through it on Saturday and the web between my thumb and forefinger was pretty red once I was finished. Oh, and my finger was tired. :D

I have a Sub-2000 (.40sw) also and have had some bad feed problems (even tried to exclusively feed it good brass). I have found more than a handful of times that the pin isn't hitting the primer hard enough to fire. It has happened out of different ammo boxes...anything from Winchester,Remington etc...This gun I bought new probably 3 years ago. Tried to strip it down and oil it up with no improvements. Gunsmith time?
 
Happy owner of a P3AT and a PF9. Lifetime warranty no questions asked quick turnaround and made in the US what else can u ask 4.:D
 
I have a P11 which I carry often. I have about 700 rds thru it and maybe a couple of FTE's but it's been basically flawless. I have 2 P3AT's and one of them is in my pocket just about daily. I also have a sub 2k that is for S&W mags. The gun shoots great--I've had a few problems with some after market mags but with some sandpaper and the Dremmel --they're working pretty good.
I like my KT's. For what they were designed to do --they serve my pupose very well.BTW -I have quite a few other handguns too. Sometimes I carry something else but it's hard to beat the concealability of the P3AT or the P11.
Plus KT has a lifetime warranty
Also--the trigger on the P11 really sucks--but that's ok--with no manuel safety that really long 10lb.trigger pull along with what's between your ears is your safety. Its a SD gun --not a range gun.
 
I bought a used 1rst gen. P32 a little more than a year ago. The only malfunction I experienced was with a cor bon HP. Never had a single hiccup with FMJ. While I don't consider it a range gun, it's pretty hard to beat for the intended purpose.
 
It took me a while to become convinced that a sub $300 gun could be a quality weapon. When I finally bought at P3AT and put about 500 rounds through it, I definitely change my mind.

Oh yea, they are definitely ugly as sin.
