Kerrys Deer Hunting Technique

Do any of you crawl through the woods with a double barrel shotgun to hunt deer , like John Kerry does ? I have not tried this , I prefer to walk and if I were using a shotgun it would not be a double barrel . Where I usually hunt , crawling through the woods might get you shot . So far , I've never seen anyone crawl or use a double barrel shotgun to hunt deer . Do you think he might be making this up ? Kerry in a heated waterfowl blind ? Maybe . Kerry in the woods hunting deer ? Yeah , right .

I liked how his daughter subtly worked in a reference to him supposedly being a hunter during her intro of him at the DNC. She talked about how he would show up at their soccer games (or whatever sport) in his "orange hunting cap."

Hate to mar the love-fest here, but when I was growing up in western Pennsylvania, the side-by-side loaded with slugs was not an uncommon sight during buck season. The crawling part would depend on the terrain in which one hunted.
I can't stand Kerry based on his voting record alone, but you guys have to do better than this if you want to convince me that GWB is any better.

When I was young all deer hunting was done with shotguns. I had a pump-action, but my brother used a SxS.

Edited to add: And I did find myself crawling a couple of times. Sometimes your stand isn't in exactly the right place.

Not that I believe Kerry has spent a lot of time hunting.

I started with a SxS 16guage and #1buck when I was 14. Did most of my hunting walking and sitting down in or close to dense cover. Don't recall any crawling though. Don't recall that dense cover being quite that dense.

Not that I believe Kerry has spent a lot of time hunting.

They have had pictures of Kerry hunting since I was a kid, I'd see him in that orange hunting cap every saturday on LOONEY TUNES, good thing he got a good speech therapist, and changed his name to John Kerry from ELMER FUDD!

I'm not sure John Kerry would use a SxS, as he seemes one of those trendy "waterfowl and trap" kinda guys. No, my friends, the other JFK is definitely an O/U kinda guy.
Now for crawling in the woods... his hunting buddies probably were messing with him. And later they sent him on a snipe hunt.

Seriously though, Don't think because John effing Kerry is a "hunter" that it makes him OK. Micheal Moore has an NRA membership, does that make him one of us?

I believe that Kerry read some old hunting books from the early 1900s when still hunting and ground blinds were more common, before people figured out that deer don't generally look up. And economics limited most commoners to one affordable gun gun which would most suitably be a SXS

Since 1995, but I think he had some money before that. I just don't see that dude as a hunter of any type. He's a gun hunter, as in, he's gonna be hunting for our guns.

I think the photos posted earlier, which clearly showed Kerry with his finger on the trigger of a shotgun even though he wasn't shooting, tell us all we need to know about his prowess in the field.

The only thing he's ever successfully hunted is rich women.
