Nope, but Kershaw makes a good knife most of the time, or at least the Ken Onion ones are. Don't know about the others.

i got the whirlwind in march at the las vegas gun show. great knife. becareful, quick and shape out of the box. and i think they are illegal in califoria.

welcome to thr? i've been looking through this site sense it started at the begaining of the year. but i was too scared to register because of sheep like you that think they know something, but when the ???? happens that's the only thing you do is ????. your probably a cop. are you that pig i made ???? on himself last week? always a smart ??? kidcop opening they're mouths.
 
the kershaw Ken Onion series is completely legal in California. It is not a switchblade, it is an assisted open.

Woah big fella! winstonsmith was just being tongue in cheek and didn't intend to get your hakkles up.

Also, the assisted opening knives are not illegal in CA (as of yet). They do not meet the definition of a switchblade and should be included in the language protecting one hand opening knives that Buck Knives and AKTI helped get in place.
 
Definitely legal (today), according to the link to CA laws I've read. It has a self-closing tendency near the closed position (you have to overcome a small spring force). And it does not open from gravity or the single press of a button.
