Well the gun shop called today and said my Raptor came in I only ordered it 5 weeks ago....lol. I went down to take a look at it, it looks and feels great in my hands. Now I just have to wait the 10 days, stupid PRK rules And then I will get to take it home (after a trip to the range )

Congrats. I have a raptor !! and love it. I love it so much I just bought a Custom I so I could shoot the S&*T out of it and leave the Raptor for special occasions. I plan on getting a Raptor Pro and Ultra Raptor too.

I pick up the Custom II on Thursday.

This is why I stay away from the high-end pistols...A "safe-Queen" in the making..... Been there, done that; it's not satisfying after awhile.

My Model 14 stays quietly in my safe 99% of the time. I shoot it a little bit every once in a while. I'm happy, it's happy. I could get another one and shoot it apart, but that one is special to me. I have other guns to take the beating of range shooting. I shoot my carry gun a little bit about every second or third time out. I don't want to beat it up either.

I do not intend for it to be a safe queen. I intend to shoot the S*** out of it like the rest of my guns.

What's with the 10 day wait, that seems like a very long time to wait to actually take possession of something you already paid for.

You are going to LOVE that pistol! I liked my Raptor II so much that I had to pick up a Pro Raptor II and an Ultra Raptor II. Unfortunately, my wife liked the Pro so much, that she informed me that the Pro was now "hers". Enjoy the pistol and stay safe!

I liked my Raptor II so much that I had to pick up a Pro Raptor II and an Ultra Raptor II.

I too want to complete my Raptor Collection my next will be the Ultra Raptor II, the Pro Raptor fell off of the CA DOJ list, I called Kimber last week to ask if they would be paying to have it put back on.

If anyone hears of a Pro Raptor II being available Please let me know.

I paid a toal of $1,275 after DROS & Tax in December.

I paid 1202.00 when all was said and done. Well I went shooting with my buddies down the hill in the desert and all I have to say is wow. I love the Raptor, we brought steel and I was having zero issues hitting it at 25 yards, I was 8/8 every time (wish I shot my P220 as well). Here are a few pics.
