We stumbled across that place quite by accident last July during our 7000 mile Middle America Road Trip. Absolutely crazy place with some of the nicest frickin people we have ever met. Then when they found out we were from Kali----they got even friendlier. Like to the point where they wouldn't let us out of the store, 'cuz they all put on this fantastic show & tell game for us, letting us hold any and all firearms we wanted to. The wife went all drooly on us when she finally got to hold a Ruger SR1911 and the daughter went nutz over all the semi-rifles. And me? I felt just like a rich college kid in Amsterdam.....:D

oh i'm sorry you said in july so you meant you stopped in the range my bad you really should consider coming back in april or october you aint seen nuthin yet

They actually invited us with open arms to come back this month and watch the fun. Said we could pitch a tent somewhere and just camp out for a couple of days. I really, really wish we could do it but things didn't line up. Hoping for next April though....that one I'm pretty sure we can get out to see........

Was talking to a vendor at the Orlando Gun Show last sarurday about that and he said the place sounds like a war zone. You can shoot just about anything. One of the few places you can blow stuff up while the crowd cheers. :)

great video i really can't wait to go this weekend really all of you should watch this video it's good

Hey... thanks for watching the video.
October seems to be the better month - in April, nasty rains turn the parking areas and a good part of the range into a mudpit.

A hint: get there well before 7am, preferably 6am. If you can take it, stick around long after the night shoot concludes (if attending on Saturday) - even after being on my feet for 15 hours, I still prefer that to waiting over an hour to exit the Range.

If you're after a bit of luxury with a dash of the paranormal, stay at the Seelbach Hilton on Fourth Street in Louisville. Awesome place to stay, and it's possibly haunted!

I live 10 miles from the range. Quite an awesome sight when those drums go up. The miniguns are great but my favorite is that shorty M2 that really thumps. Can't remember the name of it, but the guy sells t-shirt souvenirs.

Last year the range had to be shut down early as the tracers set fire to the woods. Doubt it'll be a problem this year, expecting some rain early next week. The range was shut down for three months this spring with 25+ inches of rain falling.
