i bought my '75 336 used last year. one of the better gun purchases i've made. i looked over the stock for cracks, checked the muzzle crown, operated the action, checked trigger/hammer function, and looked at the bore.

In my area deer season could require anything from a t-shirt to a parka, so the ability to adjust the LOP one way or the other is nice (also great if multiple shooters are sharing a gun or someone is growing into a gun). It also has a threaded muzzle, a compact silencer would work well with the 30-30. I'v been thinking of buying one and adding a compact silencer and RDS, would be a nice lightweight suppressed hunting rig for the short shots I normally take.
