I bought my Ruger GP100 about a week and a half ago and have taken it to the range three times. Man o' man do I love the way this gun shoots. I didn't know that I was a revolver guy until I fired this gun.
Unfortunately, after the third trip to the range and after I had given the gun a thorough cleaning, I noticed that the cylinder was binding. It was hard to open and once it was opened, it was hard to close. I looked at everything and even field stripped it to see if maybe there was some crud stuck somewhere, but I could find nothing.
I took it to the FFL that I bought it from and he took a look at it and without hesitation said that he would take care of getting it back to Ruger for me. He also said that not to worry, Ruger has pretty fast turnaround times and that I will get back a gun that is better than factory new.
I consider this great customer care from my dealer and if you live in the Piedmont Triad region of NC, I highly recommend that you shop at "The Gun Rack" in Kernersville. The staff there is great and obviously so is their customer service. Oh, and the prices compare favorably to the best online dealers.
