I been in touch w/ Blade-Tech about making a 4-shell carrier. They have a 2-shell carrier that's $20 or so, and Safariland has something like it as well. I asked about making one for 4 shells since I'm skinny and need to capitalize on belt space.

Tom, the custom guy, says he thought of it before but not sure if they'd move. He said it would cost $300 to tool up, and he'd do it if he can get 16 or more orders. They would cost $25 each.

It would resemble something like their moonclip pouch below. Let me know if you are interested, and how many you want. He doesn't want the money now as much as he wants to know if there's interest out there.

TIA Skunk

Skunk, I saw a guy last weekend (we had a Level 3 IPSC match going on) who had the same sort of setup your pictures show; when he was loaded up, he had around 40 rounds on his belt :) ; two questions: do they make them in .40 (for the 610), and where can I get some?

Sign me up. I use a couple of the two shell Safariland carriers when I'm bird hunting. I carry two rounds of Federal Tactical 00 Buck and a couple of Federal Tactical Slugs for those situations where birdshot just won't do.

A four round holder would be high on my list of must haves.

Skunk,

Most of the gear I carry rides in Blade-tech rigs, I love their stuff. I like the idea but $25 for 4 shells? Seems a little steep. You can get the 2 shell belt clips from Wilson Combat for $6. I guess it depends on the final product...

Originally responded..thinking that you were discussing moonclip pouches..and then I noticed the forum...oops

I'd buy one at least to start. The only question would be the design and how bulky it would be on the belt. Those of us with a roll over the belt line might not find it that comfortable but I'll try anything once.

Blade-Tech's been busy doing miltree orders and it'll be a while...I was going to ask about about making them with 6 shells but they said it'll be a while before they can get to it.....

And I kinda like using my back pocket better for shells...I think this'll be on the back burner for a while. Sorry

Older thread, but I'd love a 4 shot version.

Does anyone have any experience with the 2 shot Wilson Combat models?

Wow, I guess this is an old thread! I need a decent shell carrier for work. IT needs to be black. 4-6 rounds is plenty, as long as it would fit on a a duty belt.

I would probably buy two...
