the reason I ask is I have the chance to buy 4 5 gal buckets of this brass the brass is in great condition not corroded or dented up , just good 1x fired
lc match, I will keep some for me and sale off the rest, the guy was a competition shooter and has buckets of this he never got to.

Some of that old match brass did not have the crimp on the primer pocket.
You'll have to check the ones in the bucket to see, but if no crimp
then your case prep is one step easier. Good find. Good luck!

I was curious how much 308 brass would fit in a 5 gallon pail so I did some looking and it should be around 2000 per pail. So the retail worth of all that broken out into small qty's would be a couple thousand dollars. I would offer like $100 bucks a pail for them, keep whatever you want, and bag them up in qty's of 100, 500, and 1000 and list them for sale on gun broker for $25/100 with free shipping. 100 will cost about $3 to ship first class mail and the bigger qty's can go in flat rate envelopes for $6.
