So my better half has finally gave in on the idea of a ak47. Im looking at lancaster and vector at atlantic firearms. The lancaster has a lifetime guarantee which is nice. Can anyone give me some info on these rifles.

I understand that they are both good. I'm looking at a Lancaster myself, so I wouldn't mind more info.

Lancaster maintains a website. Would be a good place to start. I've seen their handicraft, and would recommend one of them.

I have a Vector HK clone which I also like.

Both will be great rifles, but if there's only a small difference in price I would buy the Vector. It's worth the extra cost to me for a build using Polish, Hungarian, or Bulgarian parts kit over a Romanian parts kit.

I have two Lancasters, A Polish Tantal Sidefolder and a Russian Red Standard AK that I just picked up. Awesome units.

I honestly can't see not[/U] spending the extra $100 or so to get a Lancaster over a Romak.

We sell a large volume of rifles for both firms and you would be pleased with either unit, the Lancaster offers a few more perks with their rifles, rifle case, longer warranty, polished bolt carrier, G2 fire control .

Lancaster is very good quality. Its not like Vector and a WASR... the quality would be very similar.

Hope you have plenty of money for 7.62 x 39- its enough to give you a nose bleed right now. :barf:
