Or you know, just to keep it traditional, you could build a machan over a tied live bait goat. Sit up all night waiting for the tiger to strike then “illuminate” it with a paraffin lamp and attempt to shoot it with an iron sighted Mauser or double rifle. Just make sure your front sight bead is made of warthog ivory. That supposedly picks up light better than elephant ivory.
Better yet you could arrange for a line of beaters and shoot the tiger as it flushes ahead of them.
I’m guessing that a feral tiger in Texas wouldn’t last to long. They do have some serious protein requirements that make them fairly noticeable in populated areas. If you start finding fully grown cattle partially fed upon way up in the trees, start to worry.
