Largest "common" animal that a pack of coyotes will attack?

I think most said it...but if anything, them rotts are protection for everyone else. They have the instincts too and if it gets dicey, they will step up for you. No doubt.

coyotes have been known to take down deer in some cases. with dogs it'll depend on the dog and the coyote. sometimes they'll run dogs to death, other times they'll make little coydogs.

I really appreciate the collective knowledge and experience on this forum. I'm feeling a whole lot better about the coyotes now and will report back with any relevant news over the next few months. I'm sure the coyotes will become more active as winter approaches.
