Just picked up the LASERLYTE CK-AMF at the gunshow today, couldnt have gotten it any cheaper online than what I paid for it at the show either. I lucked out, it was the only one at the show.

There is no info on the packaging regarding overall weight, what I can tell you is this; it installed very easily on my P3AT with the included tools and hardware, the same model installs on the P3AT, P32 and LCP, but for the Kel-Tecs you have to use what LASERLYTE calls an adaptor which is really just a shim, but a well made and good fitting one. The laser installs on the right hand side of the frame by driving out the frame pins and installing the mounting hardware, same as if you were installing the Kel-Tec pocket/belt clip, same screws even I think.
The body or housing of the laser is flat black polymer or carbon fiber, again, not described in the packaging, but very well made, it runs on four 377 batteries, the laser already had batteries in it and it came with spares, the laser has both pulse and constant on modes with an auto shutoff, runtime for the batteries is 5 hours for constant on and 10 hours for pulse, the on/off switch is easily accessed by the trigger finger, auto shutoff activates after 5 minutes of runtime. The battery housing panel is aluminum and secured with 2 screws, the screws with the mounting hardware are coated with a "locking nylon patch" which in my opinion is good news, considering the screws on the pocket clips tendency to start backing out under recoil after a few mags, I do think the screws for the laser and pocket clip are identical, but I dont have any for comparison at this time, and no, you cannot mount both the laser and the pocket clip.
I sold my blue framed chrome slide P3AT so I could get an all black one and this laser looks great on it, and even better, my P3AT still fits in the Desantis Nemesis pocket holster with the laser attatched, the laser was very easy to zero and tomorrow, weather permitting, I am going to live fire function test it.

So what are the draw backs? Only one I can think of right now without having actually fired the gun with the laser attatched, the elevation adjustment screw on the laser I have is well countersunk into the body of the laser housing, but the windage screw portrudes enough to give me concern as a snag point, it clears my Desantis Nemesis holster easily, what I worry about is what it may catch on in the pocket of whatever pants I happen to be wearing when I need to draw it, I never carry anything other then the gun and holster in whatever pocket I happen to be carrying a pocket gun in, but over time, the more you wash stuff, the dirtier your lint catch gets and your pockets too, guess I will just have to make sure I clear my pockets of debris, wish it could be as easy as hanging your boots upside down in scorpion territory, that being said, those of you carrying pocket guns need to blow them out (compressed air) and oil them more regularly than your belt/holster guns, because if you dont, by way of static electricity, easily generated in your lint filled pockets, (pocket pistols are lint magnets) they may not go bang when you need them to. Hopefully a live fire range report will follow up this one tomorrow.

You mention that you haven't fired it yet. Is it possible the windage screw protrudes so far because it isn't sighted in yet?

You can sight in a laser pretty close without shooting the gun.

In low light, outside if you can, aim at a wall about 15 yards away.
Hold a good sight picture and adjust the dot so that it appears to sit on your front sight. At this time the gun will shoot just a little low.
Now adjust the dot so when holding good sight alignment the laser dot is just below the front sight.

You may have to give the laser a little adjustment when you first shoot.

Dialed in!

It was dialed in just minutes after installation and needed no further adjustment the screw portrudes, which I find odd considering how recessed the other screw is, but the laser is dialed in. Posting a full range report next.
