Ok, I have been shooting LC brass for some time now and seen somthing at the range during my brass rat session. Do they make nickel LC brass with crimped primer pockets? I found several near my shooting position. I have never seen this and neither did anyone else at the range today.

I have about 100 of them some one gave me. said they were black hills varmint loads.

Never heard of nickel plated LC. I scrounged about 50 NP Win cases a few weekends ago at a range. I asked around and read up on it at varmint Al and leaned that if you want to ruin your sizing die, run the nickel plated stuff through it. I threw it in the scrap bucket.

I'm looking at a few .30 M72 and 7.62x51 M118s with a high-shine nickel finish.

They're dummies, though, and the bullet is also nickel. They were passed around at the National Matches like 1962-4 or so as keychain souvenirs/novelties.

There's a chance that maybe some ammo specially loaded for the 300-meter International Matches (before ISU became UIT and maybe even before it was called ISU...) might have been loaded in nickel cases. The sometimes did "special" runs back then.

First nickel plated rifle cases I found was two weeks ago out at the gravel pit we use for a shooting range. Found 4 Winchester WSM 300. Huge things!

Mr. White you can send me all the NP you have. If you clean your brass no harm done. On the other hand you can wear on you dies without NP by sanding on them with dirty brass.
