smince:
I would suggest that if you are laying on your back with an injured primary arm/hand, or even standing with an injured primary hand, you could not access your LCP in the rear pocket holster... Of course for that matter, I would also think, if your primary arm/hand is out of commission you won't be able to get the LCP if it were in a front pocket holster, or an IWB, or any other concealed carry type holster you might be using.
I think the utility of the rear pocket holster (for me) outweighs any deficiency using such cc choices because I believe the chances are extremely higher that in a confrontation you will have access to your firearm with your primary hand than are the chances that the primary hand is out of commission.
Or, IF the situation has turned to poop to the point you only have one hand available, and that being the wrong hand, you wouldn't have time to access ANY pistol/revolver, no matter how you were carrying it.
You can keep adding variables all day long but the answer to most of them is "I just don't know" because I've never encountered such a situation.
Just personal opinion, no offense.
Best Wishes,
Jesse
P.S. My Seecamp LWS380 is tiny enough that if I wanted to I could just plop it in my front shirt pocket, and still have my LCP in my back pocket.. But when you are under crisis conditions, with only the "wrong hand" available, I'm not sure I could even pull that out of my shirt pocket..
